Everyone believes her... except you.Twelve years of searching, hoping, and fearing the worst. Now she's back. But is she really? Ellie never stopped looking for her best friend Carla who vanished twelve years ago with only a duffle bag and a guitar. Now, Ellie is engaged to Nick, Carla's brother. Just as they decide to get married, Carla returns. Everyone is over the moon but Ellie soon senses something is wrong. Carla's memories are fragmented, her stories don't add up, and she's oddly evasive about her lost years. But no one will listen to Ellie's concerns. Not Nick, not Carla's mother Marjorie, not their old friends. Ellie begins to wonder: Is this really Carla? And if not, then who is she? And what happened to the real Carla?
